Serial / UART
The satlog.io Data Logger board has an isolated serial/UART interface accessible via a JST 4-pin connector. The pinout is directly compatible with Victron equipment and cables (Ve.Direct) but can also be used with generic serial/UART devices. Contact us for help terminating your cable harness or configuring different baud rates.
VE.Direct
Both Victron's SmartShunt / BMV products are supported, as well as inverter products using VE.Direct like the Phoenix line of inverters.
Custom Equipment
The serial interface of the Data Logger is galvanically isolated and the IO level desired (1.8V, 3.3V, 5V) can be chosen by the connected equipment. Compatible connectors: 4-pin JST PH 2.0, default baud rate is 19,200.
Pins numbered left (4) to right (1).
